Exciting News: Gather and Grow Coming to Watertown!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you: Gather and Grow, an established nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and fostering community well-being, is expanding into the great community of Watertown!

Starting April 15, 2024, Gather and Grow assumed operations of Friends For Life Watertown Food Shelf. This transition marks a significant milestone for our county as Gather and Grow gains the ability to serve northern and western Carver County in a dignified and respectful way addressing food insecurity.

Gather and Grow is committed to providing nutritious food and support services to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. With our innovative programs and collaborative approach, we aim to empower individuals to lead healthier, more resilient lives.

As part of this change, residents of Watertown will have access to expanded shopping choices, including fresh food options, personal care and household items, and supportive services. Gather and Grow will work closely with local partners, volunteers, and community members to ensure that everyone in Watertown has access to the resources they need to thrive.

We are confident that this growth will enhance the community’s ability to address food insecurity and support the well-being of all residents. Together, we can create a stronger, more resilient community where everyone has access to nutritious food and support services.

We look forward to this new chapter and the positive impact it will have on our community. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to reach out to Angie Cruzen, Executive Director, at angie@gatherandgrowmn.org

Thank you for your continued support and participation in making our county a vibrant and caring community.
