Waconia +30 April Fitness Challenge
The Waconia +30 Fitness Challenge is a community-wide initiative designed to help residents of Waconia build healthier habits—one small step at a time.
Throughout the month of April, participants are encouraged to add 30 minutes of movement to their daily routine. Whether you walk, run, bike, stretch, garden, or try something new, the goal is simple: move more and feel better.
This inclusive challenge is open to all ages and fitness levels, making it easy for everyone—from beginners to seasoned athletes—to participate in a way that works for them.
The +30 Challenge is made possible through a collaboration of local partners, including the City of Waconia, Gather & Grow Food Shelf, schools, local businesses, and community organizations—all working together to support healthier lifestyles across our community.
Participants can:
- Track their daily activity minutes
- Join community events throughout April
- Share their progress using #Plus30
- Celebrate their progress by participating in local events like Lola’s Lake Waconia races in May (optional)
No registration is required—just commit to 30 minutes a day and get moving!
